Backstory: Rena grew up in a small town called Hope Valley. Her mother was the local midwife there and nurse, thus explaing Rena's own knowlege of healing. She group up with her mother, father (who was a blacksmith), and her older brother who is now 23. Her brother moved away to the city and got married to a girl he met there. He writes Rena often seeing as they were very close. Rena had high hopes of going to school in the city and becoming a nurse, but her parents didnt have the money. And so Rena set off to find a way to save up enough money to go to school in the city and fufill her dream. She came upon Aurora and opened a small shop in hopes of getting enough money. The charm of the small village worked its magic and now she is determined to come back when she goes off to school although no one knows when that will be. She lives around the base of the mountains making it easier for her to gather herbs for her shop.

History: A descent of a famous bartender, Tori was raised being told many stories his great grandparents.
As a child he had a rather simple life. His mother was a big time business woman but made time for her
son. His father managed a resturant passed down for two generations and also made time for his son.
Everything at that point seemed peaceful in his life. Aruodn the age of 8, his father's dream had died along
with his life in a vatal crash that killed him on the spot that left poor Bulla up to her ears in bills for the
resturant. Unable to pay then off, she decided to sell the resturant and move into a two bedroom apartment
with her son. From that point of, Tori's life took quite a turn. If it wasnt for his grandfather, Ryuui, Tori would never of known how famous his family is. As the years passed, Tori grew more curious about the history of the Azure's and the Smith's. So he decided to do some researching....

Description: If you were to compliment Brooke on her appearance, she’d accuse you of lying. Although she may not think it, Brooke is more attractive than the average Jane, but she has her faults. She has an oval shaped face and well-defined cheekbones. Her chestnut colored hair is short and choppy, and falls to her shoulders. Although she’d prefer it longer, it’s a terrible sight to see, and thus it must be kept short. She has a few blonde highlights in her hair, but they’re natural, not dyed.
Her eyes are neither green nor blue, they’re more of a mix between the two.
Brooke's nose is slightly upturned, and her pink lips are a tad too small, but not enough to be dubbed ‘chicken lips’. They seem to have a shine to them, but only God knows why; she hasn’t touched a container of lip gloss in her life, and rarely puts on chapstick. Overall, Brooke has fair skin tone, and isn’t in the sun long enough to get a tan. And even if she tried, the result would be a nasty burn, and Brooke finds life without skin cancer much more preferable.
Standing at five feet and four inches and weighing exactly one hundred and two pounds, Brooke is normal in height and, to put it bluntly, scrawny. Never in her life has she competed in a sport, and she doesn’t plan to, either. And since she has never been introduced to a gym of any sort, it is unlikely she’ll ever gain any muscle.
Her clothing style is rather plain; On a normal day you’ll see her with a halter top and a ruffle-y skirt that falls to her feet. It is rare that she ever wears pants, and the only time she really does is when she’s playing with her two Indian Runner ducks, Dawn and Dusk. With skirts, she chooses to wear long ones, and you’ll never find her in one that’s higher than her knees, the only reason being that she’s embarrassed to flaunt her body, and her shy nature contributes to that. Her favorite outfit that she only wears on special occasions is her treasured kimono, given to her by her friend back in her hometown as a parting gift. Brooke is not of Japanese origin, but she has a thing for kimonos.
Accessories are a must for Brooke. Though she’s not a fashion follower or a girly-girl, she loves necklaces, bracelets, you name it. But her favorite accessories to wear are feathers, in which she loves putting in her hair. Ribbons, preferably ones tied to her arm, are popular as well.

Personality: If anything at all, Brooke is shy. Now, I don’t mean that she’s the kind of shy that, when you get to know her, she’s outgoing. No, Brooke is shy with everyone, whether it is her friends, complete strangers, or even family. She never knows what to say and sometimes refuses to talk because she’s afraid she’ll make a stupid comment that’ll make everyone laugh at her. She’s very self conscious about herself and cares deeply about what others think about her. Being sensitive doesn’t help either, and she easily gets hurt. You could easily call her pessimistic, and she always puts herself down, which results in her low self esteem.
Once you’re friends with Brooke, she will talk more, and feel a bit more comfortable, but she won’t have three hour conversations on the phone with you. And, rather than show her affection for her friends and family with words, she shows them with actions. Brooke will help out her friends in their times of need, but isn’t exactly the best comforter, but she does her best cheering them up.
Brooke is not mentally/emotionally strong, either. No, she won’t go insane, but if something tragic happened, such as a friend’s death or betrayal, she’d break down completely, and it would take all her strength inside her to recover.
Because she is shy, Brooke mainly just sits back and observes her surroundings. And if she sees something wrong, she’ll try to mend it to make sure everything’s in order again, just how she likes it. Which leads to one of her more positive qualities; her kindness towards living things, whether it be people or animals. She’s very passionate about animals, and cares for their well-being as she does with people. When friends with Brooke, she normally takes on the motherly role, looking over her friends as though she were their own mother.
Boys, boys, boys… Brooke never has had a real crush, and is quite inexperienced in the flirting department. She doesn’t really know how to, and she doesn’t even try to get a guy to like her; in her opinion, she’s not good enough for them. But if she were ever to fall in love, it’d have to be a dependable, trustworthy guy, and one more outgoing than she. Whether it be girl or guy, Brooke could never get along with a shy person, because they’d both probably be too shy to converse.
Brooke is very easygoing and it’s hard to get her mad. Normally, she just goes with the flow, and rarely stands up for herself. But if you were to get her angry, it’d be because you hurt someone she loved or because you’re just plain cruel, hateful, and mean. Once you've gotten her angry, she holds nothing back. Brooke tunes out the whole world and focuses only on that one person. It’s like her shyness is completely forgotten. She'll yell, swear, and if she's really ticked, she'll become violent. Though, this is very unlikely to happen, because she withstands most taunts or teasing, no matter how much they hurt her and rarely ever fights back or stands up for herself.

History: Brooke’s parents met at a party way back in 1985. After a one night fling, the two went their separate ways- at least until her mom found out she was pregnant. Thinking it would be best for their child, the two decided to stick together. After all, how hard could it be? On November 22nd, 1985, Brooke was born at 12:47am on a Friday. When it came time for little Brooke to come home, her parents then discovered how difficult it would be to raise a child.
Childhood was relatively normal for Brooke, she went to school, she had a few friends… the only exception being her parents always away. Even if they had a child, her parents couldn’t give up their freedom. Of course Brooke's aunt lived with her and was her caretaker, but it just wasn’t the same as having a real mom and a real dad. Brooke always envied her friends, they had a normal family, a dad, a mom, siblings... while she had nothing. Throughout the years, her relationship with her parents didn't get much better, and sometimes it was almost as if she hadn't parents at all.
As stated before, Brooke really didn't have anything interesting or worth noting going on in her life. She went to an elementary school and in fifth grade, was voted 'Most Reliable' out of the whole fifth grade. Brooke never really understood how she got that award... she never talked, how would they know if she was reliable or not? Once she entered middle school, her life went downhill. Sixth grade for Brooke was perfectly fine, she had excellent teachers, good friends... but then once she went into seventh grade, the 'great' life she once had transformed into a living Hell. None of her friends were in her classes, and when no one has your back, you're an easy target. All year long she was taunted and tortured. Going to school was suicide, and she absolutely refused to take the bus, for fear of being teased. For Brooke, eighth grade was a much, much better year. She had gained new friends, and some of her old friends were back in her classes. Everything had returned to normal. After completing high school, Brooke moved to Aurora after hearing it was a wonderful place from one of her friends.

Characteristics/personality: He tends to be shy around big groups of people he has not met yet. But being with a couple of people, and getting to know them, he becomes more open. He moved from the city when he was 18 and has been working odd jobs before trying to find a career to settle into. He is very kind and would help anybody before thinking of himself. He does tend to get lonely sometimes, but hides it. He only wants to find a steady job, make friends, and eventually settle down and hopefully one day become a family man.


Appearance: He has medium length blonde hair which is usually always covered by his black baseball cap that, when working or having fun, is turned backwards. He has blue eyes. People sometimes mistake him for being a little younger, as he tends to not look his age. He has never been very tall, around 5"10. He is in decent shape, with white skin with a light tan.


He wears his hat, a pair of long black shorts, and a dark blue t-shirt. His cap is always, usually, backwards for the summer.


Background: Jake grew up in a small village called Cedar Valley. He always loved the small country side of life, but his family made the move to the city when he was 12. After finally getting used to the city, he began to question if that was what he really wanted. Busy streets all the time, people everywhere, he wanted to just relax in life. So he worked several odd jobs to save up money for 3 years, and when he was 20, he moved. Shortly after his 21st birthday, he decided he needed to finally make a choice of what he wanted out of life. the place is foggy a lot of trees theres a big pond full of water lillys
