Aaliyah is a Canadian. whoot! She lived in Calgary for a short time with her ex boyfriend. Turns out he was cheating on her, but she didnt know that. he called it quits last year to be with some other chick, so Aaliyah doesnt like relationships as mcuh as she next person does. She gathered all her belongings and left. She ended up living with her parents for a short period of time, looking for at leat an apartment building. Her families not really forgiving. They used to be real tight friends with her ex boyfriend, but ever since they heard the bad news, they've been on his case ever since. Theywent through extreme measures like calling the police, telling his recent girlfriend that he's cheating, and stuff like that. I guess they think that there being a good family, but they are just making it even worse. This is one of the main reasons that Aaliyah moved from here.

Story:
Alison was born to a middle class family living in a nearby city. She has two other siblings, an older brother and younger sister. Her mother died after having her sister while Alison was still pretty young. Because of this for a long time Alison blamed her younger sister for their mother's death. This of course caused many problems at home and her father was not around to help them deal with their problem as he was usually working hard to provide them with enough money to live off of. Luckily as Alison grew she slowly grew out of that phase but this has always been there and kept the two from developing any deep bonds as sisters.

As Alison grew she took a different path from that of her father in brother who both worked in big businesses. She enjoyed nature much more than the city and often found her surroundings very cramped. Her pet cat Moses was her best friend as she grew older as she just didn't seem to completely fit in with the other city kids. It was during this period that she developed her love for animals that brought her to become a veterinarian. She would bring home stray animals and try to nurse them back to health. She seemed to have a natural affinity for caring for animals and the animals liked her as well.

When she got old enough she left for college to study to become a vet. She took Moses with her. The cat however was not the pet she had since she was a kid. The original Moses had been run over 2 years before laving behind only a single black kitten in Alison's care. Alison had nursed the new Moses from teh time it was a kitten and the two had become good friends.

College seemed to fly by and as it ended Alison came to the realization that she did not want to live in the city like the rest of her family. She wanted to live in a place where she could feel free. Her search for the perfect place to live lead her to Aurora. It was a town that was just calm enough for her to relax and start a business of her own and it had everything she wanted. She set up an animal clinic near the town square and began a garden of herbs, vegitables, and fruits behind her shop. The garden quickly paid for itself as she decided to start a healt food store as well. Using the produce from her garden she provides the town with health food and natural curatives and was even able to keep part of the crops for herself. The clinic/store works very well for her providing her with a steady income and a place to live as her apament is above the shop on the second floor.
